Any civilization that depletes the resources of its own environment, in lieu of improving it and sustaining it, WILL Vanish, VANISH. Hyper exploitation of the environment is a form of suicide on the installment plan, if we are waiting for a solution to be handed down from the top we will wait ourselves into a grave. If change comes it will emerge from the bottom up(you, me, our children), from changing this postage stamp sized personal universe we have in our daily life. This film dramatically illustrates the need for a required shift of conscientious mind at this time. Certainly we are seeing, across the whole of the world a profound emergent shift and rising awareness of these problems. This awareness also offers the possibility of hope and change, but it is a participatory change from those closest to the symptoms and is also the precondition for the collective will to proceed in whatever fashion one has to implement. No matter how small or seemingly inconsequential small changes appear on their surface their impact in fractal multiplicities is profound. Whatever the case may be the change in your personal universe is immense and a new drum beat does not go unnoticed by those who pass through your worldly orbit and trace shadows back to the light of creative illumination.
