New Forms of Media Art ( Visual Psycho-Aucoustics)

I have studied the effect that both visual and acoustic information has on brain states and meditative as well as entrainment to states of consciousness outside normal problem solving mode. Trance and what is called Psy-Trance mirror a type of psycho acoustic driving that many indigenous cultures use in ceremony and ritual to connect with other profound states of connected consciousness. Perhaps being a technologist geek type person it is easy for me to see that amazing complexity going on here and being transmitted to human perception by marrying both visual and acoustic imagery.

I enjoy working in this type of newer digital art form. In working with the various videos that I do let me explain something that may not first be apparent. The human eye can process about 30 Frames per second and that has long been thought to be about all that can be perceived. But, notice in this one I remixed, I have added layers of dimensional symbolism, while we can still process 30 FPS multiply this by the layers of dimensional overlays and visualized resonance and you will see it is more like 30FPSx3Dimensional Layers= 90 Frames plus the corresponding resonance to both the music and visual interplay.
